1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry through this website or confirming enrolment in a Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that person to these terms.

3. Description of Service

Hikmah Saujana provides financial education programmes in a small-group or individual setting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Programmes are educational in nature and do not constitute financial advice, financial planning services, or recommendations to purchase, sell, or hold any financial product. No financial products are offered, sold, or referred as part of any Programme.

Programmes are currently available to participants based in or able to travel to the Klang Valley. Online participation may be available in limited circumstances by prior arrangement.

4. Enrolment

Enrolment in a Programme is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or an agreed first instalment for the pre-retirement engagement). Until payment is received, a place is held provisionally and may be offered to another enquirer. Group sizes are limited. We reserve the right to decline an enrolment if a Programme is fully subscribed or if we determine that the Programme is not suitable for the prospective participant's stated circumstances.

5. Payment Terms

Programme fees are stated in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and are payable prior to the commencement of the first session. Payment methods will be confirmed in writing at the time of enrolment. For the five-month pre-retirement engagement (Programme 3), a staged payment arrangement may be agreed in writing at the time of enrolment.

All fees are inclusive of facilitation, written session summaries, and course materials. No additional charges apply after enrolment unless agreed in writing.

Cancellation and Refund

If you cancel your enrolment more than 14 calendar days before the first session, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days of the first session, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total programme fee applies. No refund is available after the first session has taken place. If Hikmah Saujana cancels or postpones a Programme, you will be offered a full refund or a place in a subsequent intake at your choice.

6. Participant Responsibilities

You agree to:

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, written summaries, frameworks, and methods developed by Hikmah Saujana remain the intellectual property of Hikmah Saujana. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials provided to you during a Programme for your own private reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or adapt materials for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.

8. Not Financial Advice

Nothing communicated during any Programme, in written summaries, or in any follow-up correspondence constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a financial planning recommendation under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or the Financial Services Act 2013. Participants should consult their own licensed financial planners, tax advisors, and legal advisors before making any financial decisions.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The information provided in Programmes is prepared in good faith and based on current Malaysian regulatory positions at the time of delivery. Hikmah Saujana does not warrant that information will remain accurate after delivery, as regulatory conditions change. To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Hikmah Saujana's liability for any claim arising from a Programme is limited to the fee paid for that Programme. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from participation or non-participation in a Programme.

10. Termination

Hikmah Saujana may terminate your participation in a Programme with immediate effect and without refund if you breach these Terms and Conditions in a material way, including conduct that is disruptive to other participants or facilitators.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or from participation in a Programme will first be addressed through good-faith written correspondence. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the parties agree to submit the dispute to the courts of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur as the place of jurisdiction.

Malaysian consumers may also refer disputes to the Consumer Claims Tribunal where applicable.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the website or enrolment in a Programme after any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
