Why Hikmah Saujana

What sets these programmes apart

Small groups, unhurried pace

No large seminar rooms. Every programme runs in a small group so each participant has the space to ask the question they have been carrying for years.

Malaysian paperwork, specifically

Content is built around the documents Malaysians actually hold — EPF statements, LHDN slips, Takaful schedules — not generic international examples.

Written summaries after each session

Every session produces a brief, clear written record so participants leave with something they can re-read at their leisure.

Education, not sales

No products are sold in or after these programmes. The only purpose is that you leave understanding your own situation more clearly than when you arrived.

Designed for the 40+ reader

Language, examples and pace are all calibrated for those who are well into their working lives and approaching the years when decisions carry greater consequence.

Private and discreet

Financial matters are personal. Group sizes are kept small enough that the setting feels more like a reading circle than a classroom.

A quiet step forward

Would you like to feel at ease with your own financial paperwork?

Send a note to the team. We will describe the current intake schedule and help you decide which programme, if any, is a reasonable fit for where you are.

Common Questions

Questions often asked before enrolment

Do I need any prior knowledge of finance to attend? +
No prior knowledge is required or assumed. The introductory course, in particular, begins from the position that the participant simply wants to take stock. The practical course on statements assumes only that you have received the relevant documents and found them difficult to follow.
How large are the groups? +
Group sizes are kept deliberately small — typically between four and eight participants. This preserves the possibility of asking personal questions in a comfortable setting without feeling exposed.
Are the programmes held in person or online? +
Sessions are held in person in Kuala Lumpur. The mentor-led pre-retirement engagement may include one or two online sessions where distance makes an in-person meeting inconvenient. Please write to us to confirm current intake arrangements.
Will anything be sold to me during or after the programme? +
No. These programmes are educational in nature. No financial products, insurance policies, or investment accounts are offered, recommended, or sold. Our fee is the only transaction.
What is the payment arrangement? +
Full programme fees are payable in Ringgit Malaysia upon confirmation of a place. For the five-month pre-retirement engagement, a staged payment arrangement can be discussed when you write to us.
Is my personal financial information kept private? +
All information shared during sessions is held in strict confidence. We do not share, sell, or disclose participant information. You are never required to share actual account numbers or financial statements with the group — exercises use anonymised figures or personal estimates.
